True Privacy

- One Time Pads

Tin-Can began with a simple goal: Use a One-Time-Pad for messaging instead of relying on traditional encryption. This approach makes common threats like Man-in-the-Middle and "store now, decrypt later" attacks irrelevant.

- Zero Data Retention

Your conversations are yours and yours alone, they are so secure that us storing them is pointless. At every point designing this project we have asked what data needs to be stored, and our answer is zero.

- Our architecture is device central, your data, your converatsions, your keys etc only exist on your device, not on our servers.
- Our backend is a transient service that allows the sending of messages, and once they are recieved we delete message package.
