About

- Tin-Can began with a simple goal: Use a One-Time-Pad for messaging instead of relying on traditional encryption. Your messages are encrypted prior to them being on the airwaves, and the only person capable of decrypting them are your intended recipients, nothing less, no-one else.

- Your conversations are yours and yours alone, they are so secure that storing them is pointless. At every point designing Tin-Can we have asked what data needs to be stored, and our answer is zero*.

- Tin-Can is the only place private on the internet, and it's finally a possibility.

The only place private on the internet is a high bar.

Practical First:
- Everything in app uses randomly generated ID's. What the other person sees, is voluntary, you get to set and can be anything. When we say zero* data retention, this is the asterisk and we should dig into that.

- Also: Optionally you can give us your email to recover your password [That is the only thing it is used for], and Importantly the app does not have or use that email.
